Manifesting Abundance: Your Home as a Reflection of You!

After cleaning and decluttering my house, I noticed how my built-in shelves, once bare, and kitchen cabinets, once sparse, are now overflowing with dishes, glassware, and decor. In the living room and dining area, I remembered saving for my beautiful couch and upgrading from IKEA (items without assembly). My IKEA bookshelf still brings joy, and I love showroom visits; however, it was an accomplishment to be able to buy a couch from a bespoke furniture store. Everywhere I looked, I saw before-and-after images: once empty spaces, now filled with layers of furniture and decor collected over the years.

As I continued organizing the contents in this large white armoire, a Craigslist find if you can believe it, I found an old picture of my living room when I had just bought the couch. The silk pillows were fresh and fluffy, the space around the couch empty, the walls bare except for several swatches of material to decide on colors for the walls and curtains.

For the first time in a long time, I soaked in my apartment as if drinking in every color, all the dimensions of objects big and small, the weight, the memory of when and where the item was found, and the people who have come in and out of my life and in and out of these rooms. The mental exercise of recalling the empty state to the current state revealed to me that I am a powerful manifestor. I took the empty apartment with white walls and transformed it into my beautiful sanctuary brimming with life. A place with color, textures, and comfort. A place filled with little treasures to behold and stories to recount of the laughter, the tears, and even the anger.

Sometimes we doubt our ability to get to our next dream. We seek confirmation of proof, a concrete example of our ability to create, to master not just our thoughts and beliefs but our energy. Our homes are a time capsule of the version of ourselves who created and embodied the life we built within these walls. If you ever need to convince yourself that you can create, think of your home. Because you thought it, believed it, and did it. Look around your home. You will see the transition in taste, the increase in your vision, the ease with which you live in this version of yourself that you not only created but expanded into. I remember when I wanted the beautiful couch and chairs, the sumptuous rugs, the silk curtains, and now I have lived that version of myself for many years, so I will reflect on the before and after picture as I bring forth my next vision.

I mention this because, as I continue to improve my life and reach my next set of wishes for myself, I keep hearing the advice that one must embody the next version of oneself to call in one’s desire. That we should ask ourselves, does this next action, thought, or belief represent the next version of yourself? Would the next version of yourself wear that item or replace it? Would the next version of yourself make the decision to insert whatever it is (go to school, take that trip, take that job, go to the gym, spend time with people who are negative)?

Therefore, if we can align with gratitude for all that we have accomplished so far, and remind ourselves about how capable we are at creating our world from our desires and thoughts, we can get to that next version of ourselves, that version who lives with ease, joy, love, peace, excitement, passion, and financial overflow. Because we have created from nothing. Our homes are a reflection of abundance. Our vision that was once just an idea or a wish. If you are still building your space, reflect on an area in your life—like a class, sport, skill, or hobby—that began as a thought and grew through your talent and passion. This demonstrates your power to create the life you envision.

Where we are today is the answer to prayers we once had. Your spouse, your children, your partner, your school, your job, your home, your clothes, your car, your city, all these things were called in by you. You built through your thoughts, beliefs, and magnetized it with sheer faith and knowing that these things are yours, no negotiation required.

So, you may say to me, that is great, but right now my life is chaos, and everything is falling apart. To that, you are one good thought and feeling away from returning to a place of power. What we focus on grows, so grow the positive thoughts and feelings. When you get angry, sad, and upset, then go for a walk, dance, shake out the energy, and ask your angels to cut cords and ties, say aloud or in your head that you release the energy and return to sender. If you have sage or palo santo, light it and clear the energy in your house and around your body. Listen to beautiful music or solfeggio frequencies, listen to affirmations or subliminal positive affirmations, get sunshine, drink water, recall memories that always make you feel happy, loved and at peace. Ask your angels to fill you with love, hope, and peace before you go to sleep at night, and ask them to bless you with restorative sleep. Forgive whoever has hurt you, speak your peace, go places, allow your inner child to laugh, to speak, and to play. Detox from toxic people. Examine what is causing you to stay in the downward spiral through journaling, therapy, and walks with your bestie. Journaling about your feelings is an excellent way to help you uncover what is really bothering you. Do not stay stuck. Move your body to clear your mind and energy to have more for yourself. Give to yourself first before helping others.

What is your before-and-after picture that shows you how powerful you are? Reflect on that when you feel like your next goal or vision of your future self is impossible to reach. It is within you. Have faith and ask for help; your angels and guides are always listening and need you to ask them for help due to free will. Go gett’em tiger, mon Cherie, mon Amis, you got this!
